So the store is up and running. I got a test purchase from a friend and once we get the packing material from our supplier, I’ll send the record to her (despite her living a 5 minute drive away — lol).
Meanwhile, we’re working on loading up used records on to the site with cover photos, track listings and condition grading. Unless the record is amazing, we won’t post anything worse than a “good” grading or that skips in a loop. If there are issues like that and feel that the record should be posted for sale because of an amazing song or collectability, we’ll do our best to clearly note it.
We also get our prices from Discogs and try to price ourselves comparably to listings of similar quality grading. Sure, you can probably find a cheaper record on there, or at a record show — our difference is in curating interesting playlists and moods and nearly all our records are test-run and include new plastic outer sleeves to help preserve your purchase … for your enjoyment now and for future re-sale value.
